MCU's What If...? exploring what could have been

Marvel Cinematic Universe is in its all glory as they expand their universe and tell more in detailed stories through Web Series. It all started with Wanda Vision and then The Falcon and the Winter Soldier kept it going. After a little break Loki arrived and changed the entire future of MCU. Loki gave MCU a Multiverse filled with infinite amount of possibilities.
What If...? Is an animated series of MCU which deals with all these new alternate realities, universes or timelines whatever you might want to call it. What if released on 11th August with an alternate storyline of Captain Amarica.
What If.. Released its first episode on 11th August titled "What If... Captain Carter were the first Avenger?" based on "Captain Amarica the First Avenger". It was narrated by the Watcher voiced by Jeffrey Wright. It's an alternate timeline where instead of Steave Rogers, Agent Carter gets the Super Soldier Serum. The episode unfolds what could have happened if things would have turned a little differently starting from Carter getting the Serum. Just like Captain Amarica they showed a scene which justifies her presence at the future of her 
timeline. 
This varient of Peggy Carter is amazing and she is being loved by many. Apart from few negative reviews most of the reviews are positive. It got 7.3 IMDb ratings. Each episode of What If... Is going to tell a different story from a different timeline about a different varient of one of the MCU character. 
The second episode of What If.. relesed on 18th August titled "What If... T'Challa became a Star Lord?" In this alternate story T'Challa won't be the Black Panther, instead he will be Star Lord. This varient of T'Challa is going to replace Peter Quill as Star Lord. Unlike the first episode around Agent Carter which told an alternate story of of what could have been in the Captain Amarica film, this episode isn't revolving around any story we had ever seen in any movie before. It tells its own separate story where T'Challa is Star Lord and not Peter Quill. What happens that changed an entire history? How come he became Star Lord and what happened to Peter? Well, for that you need to watch the episode. Spoiler alert there is a cameo of Egon at the end of the episode probably setting up for another What If... scenario. This episode got 8.5 IMDb ratings.

The third episode will air on 25th of August. What would the third episode be all about? Which MCU Character's varient we are going to see next? Based on the cameo of episode 3 it could be Egon and Peter. Although some say it would be around Loki and there is also another possibility of it being the episode of a Tony Stark varient, most probably the one who was not kidnapped by the Ten Rings as he was saved by Killmonger. Honestly there are plenty of possibilities, after all that is the whole point of having a Multiverse, isn't it?
The series overall got 7.7 IMDb ratings and it is being loved by MCU fans. People have been comparing scenes of What If... with actual movie scenes. They compared the scenes from the first episode with the scene of first Captain America film & they had also compared scenes of second episode with the scenes from first Gurdian of the Galaxy film.

Many of the original cast didn't reprised their role in this series although it being an animated series the visuals were not disturbed. The caste got replaced with other voice actors like Steave Rogers was voiced by Josh Keaton instead of Chris Evans. 

In What If...? Chadwick Boseman gave his voice before his sudden demise. It would be his last performance and fans are quite happy that they would listen to his voice few more times as Chadwick's MCU character is going to appear in more than one episode. Many found the second episode quite saddening as they miss Boseman a lot. 
Some of the fans are worried whether it is a canon or not! MCU and Kevin Feige both had made it clear that is is a canon. Many had theorised What If... as a pitching tool to the viewers. Here the viewers gets to watch various stories and depending upon which story and character the viewers loved the most! the studio will decide with whom they should cross over in their upcoming projects. In this way they will be telling alternate stories without disturbing the main timeline.

After What If...? There are two more series left for 2021 from MCU and those are Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel. On September 3rd Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings will release on theaters after this on November 5th Eternals will release. And on December the much awaited Spider-Man No Way Home. This Spider-Man film is suppose to be something big as much as so that MCU couldn't risk of letting any detail go out before they want to. There aren't any trailers available of Spider-Man yet and the fans are kind of getting frustrated as they want a glimps of the film as soon as possible.
